The First Congregational Church of Wiscasset held its 22nd Annual Summerfest, from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, July 23rd on the
Town Common.
Some of the all day activities included: Antiques & Collectibles; Jewelry; Books; Crafts; Toys; Greenhouse; New &
Used Items; Hand-crafted Wooden Items; Baked Goods; Candy; Uncommon Café (seating available); Silent Auction (great items
donated from area merchants); games & balloons for children; the entertainment throughout the day was by the Ragtime
Rascals;
ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO AREA CHARITIES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY! Summerfest Committee announced the
amount Summerfest 2005 raised was $7031.87 for local outreach programs almost 24% more than last year to be shared with area
outreach programs.
